Biofouling Larvae and spores are suspended in the water column waiting for a surface such as a hull to attach to.

Ultraguard Transducers are bonded to the inside of the hull. They resonate and those vibrations are transferred to the wetted surface of the hull.

These vibrations prevent the biofouling larvae and spores from being able to attach themselves to the protected surface.

Box Cooler Protection

Box coolers are proving to be an ever more popular choice for ship designers and ship owners. They give efficient cooling without taking up valuable internal space in the machiner spaces. However, the traditional copper ICAF anode style biofouling is expensive, environmentally damaging and not always effective in combatting marine growth. Ultraguard is now the best biofouling solution for box coolers.
