Similar to Sea Chests, Ultraguard acts as a direct replacement to legacy biofouling prevention systems in seawater systems. It can be effective on the largest diameter pipes right down to pipes of about 50mm OD.
The Ultraguard transducers are fitted directly to the outside of the pipe with the use of special adapters which we machine in-house. These then transmit the Ultraguard pulses into the pipe stopping biofouling from attaching to the inside of the system, keeping the seawater within flowing freely.
Ultraguard is unaffected by the seawater flow rate or its temperature or salinity. Like always, Ultraguard on a seawater system is a “Fit and Forget,” system.
