Sea Chests

Ultraguard is a direct replacement to legacy systems such as copper anode ICAF or chlorination systems. Transducers are placed on the dry side of the walls of the sea chest. The Ultraguard pulses are then transmitted over the plating that makes up the sea chest and prevents the biofouling larvae from settling on the side of the sea chest.

Using Ultraguard to protect your sea chests not only removes the need to dose polluting chemicals and biocides into the seawater, but because Ultraguard acts upon the sea chest structure itself, it works whatever the salinity, flow rate or water temperature with no need to make adjustments to the system set up.

Not using expensive consumable chemicals, anodes or electrodes also reduces your operating expenditure over the life of the vessel.
